We exist to comfort and to support the people of Israel, and to inform Christians around the world of God's plans for Israel. A friend loves at all times and a brother is born (for such a time as this), to help in a time of adversity.

Why Israel?
We have been invited to Volunteer for at least a year with Christian Friends of Israel – Jerusalem. Jerusalem is not a new place to us. We have visited numerous times, connecting with ministries, the people, and the culture.
You may ask yourself “Why Israel?”
Israel, the Promised Land, is a testimony to God’s promises and His name. Israel is a blessing to all because of the return of God’s favor.
Genesis 12:2,3 says vs2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing. vs 3 I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you, And in you, all the families of the earth shall be blessed. NKJV
As we bless Israel (to share our time, prayer, and financial gifts) – we too will be blessed.

Sharon and I have been asked to give leadership to CFI’s ongoing First Fruits Ministry. This ministry has sought to bear fruits that will remain. Working with the various communities of faith (congregations, fellowships, individuals), CFI seeks to assist wherever possible. We are helping hands for their spiritual, physical, and emotional needs.
