Educational Rehabilitative Services OfferedEbenezer Rehabilitation Centre provides specialized support, training and resources to help our clients gain their independence and be able to reintegrate back into society. The Centre works with external agencies to provide academic classes which leads to traditional qualifications (high school/college level); skills/vocational training and computer classes as well as the opportunity to learn to read and write. Employment Training, Career Guidance and Life Counseling Skills Training are also offered. The clients are encouraged to set goals for themselves this teaches them to prioritise their time and energy, most importantly they are taught to set realistic goals in order not to set themselves up for failure. Goals (Be Specific) + Plan (Write it Out) + Action (Do It) = Results Two clients are currently attending Skills/Vocational Training School to achieve their goal one to be a Chef working within the tourist industry and the other to be a Welder with our local bauxite company. This training will prepare them to be competitive whilst re-integrating back into employment. The Centre provides funding for all tuition fees, books, travelling and assistive technology.
